STRUCTURE® 2001

INCI: Acrylates / Steareth-20 Itaconate Copolymer
 
Description: STRUCTURE 2001 polymer is an associative, alkali-swellable thickener which functions well in highly aqueous personal care formulations. It is particularly well-suited for highly alkaline products like hydrophilic hair colorants, relaxers and depilatories. STRUCTURE 2001 polymer shows exceptional long-term viscosity stability at pH >12. It is supplied as an easy-to-use aqueous emulsion, and can be readily poured and mixed, without heating, into any personal care formulation. STRUCTURE 2001 polymer is stable in hydrogen peroxide and generates increased thickening efficiencies when used with hydrophobic surfactants.
